Dean’s list
• Marietta College’s Grant Swan of Gibsonia has been named to the Fall 2020 Dean’s List. Swan is majoring in petroleum engineering and is a graduate of Pine-Richland High School. Any full-time Marietta College student completing at least 15 credit hours with a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.74 in a given semester is recognized as a Dean’s List student for that semester.
• Brett Scheib of Gibsonia has been named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2020 semester at the University of Mount Union. Scheib was one of 638 students named to the Dean’s List. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, students must have completed at least 12 credit hours of traditionally graded coursework while achieving a grade point average of 3.550 or better with no letter grade below a B.
Dean’s Honor Roll
Jordan Elizabeth Hepler of Gibsonia was recently named to the University of Mississippi’s Fall 2020 Honor Roll lists. Hepler was named to the Dean’s Honor Roll, which is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.50-3.74.
In order to be eligible for honor roll designation, a student must have completed at least 12 graded hours for the semester and may not be on academic probation during the semester.
Honors College pin
Jennifer Rakowski, an undecided major from Allison Park and Billy Spirnock, a mechanical engineering major from Gibsonia are among the nearly 400 Youngstown State University honors students who have received their Honors College pin. The award signifies that students have earned at least half of the honors credits needed prior to graduation.
Honors students complete honors courses, community service, and engagement activities as members of the college. More than 1,200 students are part of YSU’s Honors College. Collectively, the students amass approximately 60,000 hours of volunteer service annually through a variety of projects which impact the campus and community.
