Hampton Presbyterian Church
Hampton Presbyterian Church’s Vacation Bible School runs 9 a.m.-noon July 17-21. Kids, aged 4 years old through those who’ve completed fifth grade, will experience God’s word as they make friends, sing songs, play games, create crafts and eat snacks. The theme name is “Stellar” as the kids will take an “out-of-this-world” journey by reinforcing relevant Bible points and immersing kids with new experiences.
For required pre-registration, visit hamptonpresbyterian.net. Click the menu in upper right, then click “HPC Kids” from the drop down, then scroll down to the bluish “Stellar” icon for the item details and the links to the online registration and volunteer forms. Online payment of $45 will be made at the same time, covering the T-shirt, snacks, materials, and the VBS music.
From 4-8 p.m. July 22, the church is hosting its sixth annual car show. It is a free family-friendly fun event, displaying vintage vehicles with a concession stand and music by DJ Denny Dutko. All makes and models are welcome. The grill will be hot, the sodas will be cold, and the tunes will be spinning. Feel free to bring your own tables, chairs, and EZ-ups.
