This one makes five for the dive.

Dive Bar & Grille opened a fifth location Friday on Saxonburg Boulevard in Indiana Township. It joins Regent Square, South Side, Lawrenceville and Pine.

The latest location, which occupies the former Gators Grille, has a large outdoor area that includes two sand volleyball courts. It will feature the same menu as its sister bars: dishes such as loaded croquettes, grilled Mahi sandwiches, salmon BLTs, seared Ahi tuna and Thai beef salad.

Diners can also get a burger. Dive has 11, including the Myron Cope, an Angus beef patty with American cheese, ketchup, mustard and pickle for $10. (Make it a “double yoi” for $3 more.)

There is also an “I Hate Vegetables” section offering bowls of nachos, corned beef and shaved steak covered with French fries or chips.

The bar has 24 beers on tap. A weekend brunch menu will roll out in the coming weeks.

The new Dive can accommodate 75 seats in the restaurant and 22 at the bar and 20-25 on the patio.

The Dive chain is co-owned by Gordon Judge and Clint Kuskie. Judge said opening night felt like a reunion because so many patrons knew each other.

“There has been a wait for a table every night,” Judge said. “I feel like our reputation is growing and that people know they can get good food and drinks at the Dive bars.”

As for a sixth location in the South Hills? Kuskie said it’s not out of the question but nothing is planned at this time. Judge said having dedicated employees is the reason they’ve been able to run five locations smoothly.

“We plan to stay at five but you never know what will happen in the future,” Judge said. “We plan to take a break from any more locations.”

“Our plates are full right now,” Kuskie said. “But you never know. We didn’t think we would open Regent Square and Indiana Township so close together, but the timing was right. These great locations were available.”

The Indiana Township location is at 3410 Saxonburg, Blvd.
