Pittsburgh United Methodists will hold an ecumenical vigil Sunday for justice in the Michael Rosfeld trial, which is underway in the Allegheny County Courthouse.

The vigil, described as an ecumenical gathering of prayer, singing and sharing, will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Warren United Methodist Church, 2604 Centre Ave., Pittsburgh.

The vigil will include prayers for justice in Rosfeld’s trial and for community healing after the 2018 shooting of Antwon Rose II. It will conclude with candle-lighting on the steps of the church. The public is welcome.

Rosfeld is accused of shooting Rose, 17, three times as he ran from a June 19 traffic stop in East Pittsburgh.
