Man found with 70 bricks of heroin, fentanyl pleads guilty to federal drug charges
A Pittsburgh resident who was found with 70 bricks of heroin and fentanyl pleaded guilty to federal drug charges, U.S. Attorney Scott Brady announced Wednesday.
Matthew Lacher, 40, was charged with one count of possession with intent to distribute heroin and fentanyl, according to a news release.
The Allegheny County Police Narcotics Unit searched Lacher’s residence in July 2018, and discovered the 70 bricks of heroin and fentanyl. Police also found a handgun with a 30-round magazine, two digital scales, several packages of marijuana and more than $1,000.
Sentencing was scheduled for June 23.
