Motorcycle driver dies in early-morning crash in Pittsburgh
A Pittsburgh man was killed early Saturday when the motorcycle he was riding crashed in Lawrenceville, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner.
The Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man as Jason Hainesworth, 33.
A spokesman for the Pittsburgh Public Safety Department said the accident occurred at Butler Street and McCandless Avenue around 2:15 a.m. First responders attempted to revive Hainesworth, but he died on the way to the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
No other vehicles were involved.
The police bureau’s Collision Investigation Unit is investigating the crash’s cause.
