A man was taken to a local hospital in stable condition after a shooting Friday night on a Downtown Pittsburgh street.

Pittsburgh Police were called just before 10:30 p.m. to the scene outside the McDonald’s restaurant on Wood Street, between Liberty and Sixth avenues.

The victim, who is in his 20s, had been shot in the side and a leg and told police he’d been arguing with two male suspects when one pulled a gun and shot him.

The suspects fled on foot toward Liberty Avenue, police said.

No further details were immediately available.
