Pittsburgh urges residents to complete census forms
Pittsburgh is urging residents to fill out census forms this month, stressing that officials use the information annually to determine how much money and resources will go to the city and its neighborhoods.
Census 2020 notifications were sent residents in early March with instructions for filling out questionnaire online. Residents also can request a paper copy or complete the questionnaire over the phone by calling (844) 330-2020 for English.
“Given the economic hardships we’re facing as a result of the pandemic, it is more important than ever that Pittsburgh is fully counted and in turn fully funded so we can deliver residents the services they need,” Mayor Bill Peduto said in a statement.
