Pittsburgh’s Becca Droz survives another cut in CBS’ 'The Amazing Race'
Pittsburgh native Becca Droz and her teammate, Floyd Pierce, survived more adventures to reach another round on CBS’ “The Amazing Race.”
Droz and Pierce, aka “Team Fun,” are now among six teams vying for a $1 million prize on a 25,000-plus mile journey around the world. They competed on the show in 2017 and returned for this year’s all-star season.
Wednesday’s episode in Switzerland saw the elimination of one of the teams but Team Fun is still in the game and will continue to compete during next week’s episode Wednesday evening at 8 p.m.
“It’s great to see how Becca and Floyd continue to be upbeat,” said Becca’s father, Dan Droz, “even as the field narrows to the really strong teams. They have avoided the drama, kept their cool and continue to show such contagious enthusiasm. They’re so fun to watch!”
Becca Droz is a 2008 graduate of Taylor Allderdice High School in Squirrel Hill. She currently works as an entrepreneur and rock climbing instructor in Boulder, Colo.
Becca’s parents, Cathy and Dan Droz, live in Pittsburgh.
