A 63-year-old man died after being struck by two vehicles Wednesday in North Versailles.

Allegheny County police said the man, later identified by the Medical Examiner’s Office as Ritchie Holmes of North Versailles, was found in the intersection of Taylor Street and Route 30 around 7 a.m. He was taken to a hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Police believe Holmes was crossing Route 30 when he was hit by an eastbound Nissan Murano. Holmes was then hit by a small, silver four-door car traveling west.

The silver car drove off after the crash, police said in a news release. Detectives are trying to identify that driver.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the police tip line at 1-833-255-8477. Callers can remain anonymous. The Allegheny County Police Department also can be reached via social media.
