State Rep. Summer Lee, D-Braddock, plans to hold a public forum on the environment Tuesday in Forest Hills.
The forum will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Forest Hills Borough Building on Greensburg Pike. The public is invited to join Lee and local organizations to learn about local and global environmental concerns and how they can impact policymaking at the local and state level.
“As we have seen firsthand, the struggle for clean air and water continues in our region,” Lee said in a news release. “Often these issues can seem too big for us to tackle alone. But together, we can make policymakers and politicians hear us and our concerns, and affect real, lasting change.”
The list of topics on the meeting agenda includes fracking, the Mon Valley Works facilities, and general pollution.
People with questions can contact Lee’s office at 412-273-3400.
