Some Allegheny County roads closed due to flooding
Sections of Allegheny River Boulevard and Nadine Road have been closed because of flooding, Allegheny County announced Friday.
Allegheny River Boulevard closed between Washington Boulevard and Nadine Road around 10 a.m.

Shortly after that announcement, the county announced Nadine Road was closed between Allegheny River Boulevard and Lincoln Avenue.
Other roads in Allegheny Countyclosed Friday morning, including Thompson Run Road in Ross Township between Babcock Boulevard and Miller Road. That road has reopened. Lebanon and Mifflin roads in Pittsburgh were also reported flooded.

Allegheny and several surrounding counties were under a flood advisory until 10:15 a.m. Friday and could experience up to an inch of rain, according to the National Weather Service.
The NWS put Allegheny, Westmoreland, Washington and other surrounding counties under a hazardous weather outlook. Thunderstorms are expected later today with a cold front to follow, the NWS said.
Temperatures will remain in the 60s this afternoon before falling into the 40s on Saturday. Temperatures will dip even further, into the upper 20s Saturday night, before climbing into the mid-50s on Sunday.
