Tatar is an infection prevention manager at UPMC Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic. She would normally touch patients and shake their hands. The coronavirus pandemic has changed how she must approach her work. In a video interview, Tatar spoke with the Trib about what it’s been like for her and what she is doing to stay safe.
