A Pittsburgh man has been arrested after being spotted with a gun Monday at the Juvenile Family Law Center, Allegheny County Sheriff Kevin M. Kraus’ office said.

Kinda El-Attrache, 34, is charged with possession of a firearm/weapon in a court facility and carrying a firearm without a license.

Security guards at the center’s main entrance noticed the outline of a handgun on the magnetometer screen showing El-Attrache’s bag, Kraus said.

Deputies then discovered a loaded black Smith and Wesson .380 caliber semi-automatic handgun in the bag.

Officials said El-Attrache did not have a concealed weapons permit and that the gun was registered to another individual. The firearm has not been reported as stolen by the owner.
