Pittsburgh police are investigating recent physical and verbal assaults in the city’s Squirrel Hill neighborhood, including reported anti-Semitic comments.

Four male victims were targeted in two incidents, according to police.

In early June, one of the victims was severely injured when he was pushed to the ground while on his way home.

The three other victims told police a male suspect verbally assaulted them during the week of June 7 on Beechwood Boulevard. The suspect directed anti-Semitic comments toward the trio and then fled, police said.

Authorities asked anyone who is a victim of assault in the city to notify police and file a report.
