Halloween tours at museum
Halloween tours are scheduled for Oct. 20, 21 and 27 at the Kerr Memorial Museum, 402 Delaware Ave., Oakmont. Tour the museum and learn how Halloween was celebrated in the Victorian Era.
Reservations are required. Cost is $35. Call 412-826-9295, and leave your name and telephone number.
Trunk-or-treat event
Oakmont United Methodist Church will host a trunk-or-treat event from 2 to 4 p.m. Oct. 22 at 419 Maryland Ave.
Clover Commons craft show
The Clover Commons 55-plus community will host a Craft Show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 4 at the Clover Commons Clubhouse, 600 Cloverview Circle, Plum.
Twenty vendors are participating. Lunch and drinks will be available for purchase, along with tickets for auction items.
Peace of Mind Workshop
Burket-Truby Funeral Home will host a Peace of Mind Workshop at 10 a.m. Nov. 9, open to anyone who is interested.
Topics include five steps to funeral planning, estate planning, preplanning and prefunding, and emotional and financial benefits of planning funerals in advance.
