Police arrest suspect in early morning stabbing in Duquesne
Police have arrested a suspect in the stabbing of a woman in Duquesne early Saturday.
Police accuse Ashante Spears, 29, of Duquesne of stabbing a woman in the 2300 block of Duquesne Place. The unidentified victim was transported to an area hospital in serious but stable condition.

Spears had been detained at the scene by Duquesne police.

She was transported to the Allegheny County Jail in Pittsburgh.
