A Pittsburgh man has been identified as the person who died following a car crash Friday evening in Ohio Township.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office said Jordan Nathan Ross Geiger, 18, was the victim. Police say he suffered a gunshot wound to his torso.

First responders were called to the intersection of Ben Avon Heights and Gass roads at 6:20 p.m., where they found several people performing CPR on a man who had gone into cardiac arrest.

Medics transported the man to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead just before 7:30 p.m. Police said medical staff also discovered a gunshot wound to the man’s torso.

Allegheny County Police are asking anyone who heard a gunshot in the Ben Avon Heights area between 6 p.m. and 6:20 p.m. Friday to call 833-255-8477. Callers can remain anonymous.
