Pittsburgh man killed in Charleroi shooting

A Pittsburgh man was killed late Monday night in a shooting in Charleroi, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

State police said Tev Jerod Mungo, of Pittsburgh, was shot just before 11 p.m. Monday outside of a residence in the 800 block of Lookout Avenue in the Mon Valley borough in Washington County.

Mungo, 31, was pronounced dead about 30 minutes after the shooting.

At least a dozen shots were fired and two homes in the area were struck with bullets, police said. No other injuries were reported.

No arrests have been announced and police said there is no suspect yet.

Charleroi Regional Police department and Pennsylvania State Police are conducting an investigation.

Rostraver-West Newton EMS and the Charleroi Fire Department assisted at the scene Tuesday morning.
