Three people were injured in a stabbing incident reported Saturday morning in Uniontown.

One person was taken to a hospital while two others were treated in the 60 block of Butler Street, according to a Fayette County 911 supervisor.

The injury to the person who was hospitalized was not life-threatening and the two others had “very minor” injuries, according to Lt. Thomas Kolencik, media relations officer for Uniontown police.

Police said they have no leads on a suspect and are not sure where the stabbing occurred, but they don’t believe it happened at the Butler Street house where the victims reported it to 911 at about 6:15 a.m., Kolencik said.

“The victims refused to cooperate and wouldn’t tell us where it happened,” he said.

Kolencik said the investigation remains open.

“We always leave the door open,” he said.
