Concealed-carry events set in Fayette County
A seminar and after-hours permit event for Western Pennsylvania residents interested in concealed-carry for a firearm will take place this month.
The Markleysburg Fire Department and officials from State Rep. Matt Dowling’s office on April 13 will host a concealed-carry seminar, including presenters from the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department, the Pennsylvania Game Commission and Firearms Owners Against Crime. It will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the department, 100 Fireman Lane, Markleysburg.
A question-and-answer session will follow the presentations. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required by visiting RepDowling.com or calling 724-438-6100.
In Fayette, state Rep. Ryan Warner’s office will host a concealed-carry permit event 5:30-7:30 p.m. April 4 at the Perryopolis Borough Building, 312 E. Independence St.
“Residents will be able to learn about their rights as gun owners and how laws affect concealed-carry, while also completing the necessary steps to receive a permit,” Warner said.
