Sample collection for covid-19 tests are administered at a Central Outreach Wellness Center testing site in the parking lot of the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium on March 24.

Allegheny Health Network is offering covid-19 testing at the following community sites.

  • Citizens Hospital, 651 Fourth Ave., New Kensington: Tuesday and Thursday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • AHN McCandless, 9335 McKnight Road: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Forbes Hospital, 2600 Haymaker Road, Monroeville: Tuesday and Thursday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • 575 Lincoln Ave. in Bellevue: Tuesday and Thursday, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • AHN Braddock Urgent Care Center, 501 Braddock Ave. in Braddock: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The majority of the times stay consistent week-to-week, officials said. The sites will be closed on Thanksgiving.

For the community testing sites, symptomatic patients need a physician’s order and appointment. If patients don’t have an order, they can schedule a video visit by calling the AHN 24/7 on-call nurse line at 412-687-7348.

Test results generally take three to five days.

Additionally, a mobile testing site will be open Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Church in the Round in Aliquippa, 744 Griffin St. Appointments and doctors’ order are not required at the mobile site. People can walk up or drive through.
