A Fairchance man was gunned down late last month outside a Long John Silver’s restaurant in Fayette County, and state police are looking for anyone who might have seen what happened — or, better yet, might have video that could help with the deadly road rage investigation.

Justin D. Rittaco, 21, of Fairchance, is in the Fayette County Prison without bail in connection with the May shooting of Robert Lukehart, 39, in South Union Township. Troopers said Lukehart was shot multiple times and died at the scene.

State police are seeking witnesses or videos of any confrontations between two white males that may have occurred between Swaney’s Roller Rink on Georges Fairchance Road and the Sunoco/Arby’s on Morgantown Road, just outside of Uniontown, Trooper Kristen M. Zelechowski said.

“During this incident, a black Acura Integra passed a black Lincoln MKZ on Georges Fairchance Road and stopped on the roadway. A white male then exited the Acura and approached the passenger side of the Lincoln,” Zelechowski reported. “A short time later, the white male returns to the Acura and drives into the Arby’s/Sunoco parking lot.”

The alleged confrontation occurred between 3 and 4 p.m. The shooting occurred about 4:25 p.m., police said.

Anyone with information can call Zelechowski at 724-415-1013 or via email at kzelechows@pa.gov.
