Megabus to expand Pittsburgh service to Buffalo, Central Pa.
A new public transit connection is coming to Pittsburgh thanks to a recently announced partnership between low-cost bus service provider Megabus and Fullington Trailways, a transit service based out of Clearfield County in Central Pennsylvania.
The new daily passenger bus service starts on Sept. 1 and will connect Pittsburgh to Buffalo, along with 18 other towns along the route. The new route meanders through Western and Northcentral Pennsylvania and onward to Southern and Western New York.
Megabus’s partnership with Fullington also includes a route starting in Pittsburgh and connecting to State College via DuBois, Clearfield, and Philipsburg. In addition to Pittsburgh connections, Fullington is also allowing Megabus to expand service to connect Harrisburg with nine cities, Philadelphia with 11 cities, New York City with 14 cities, and State College with 18 cities.

Fullington Trailways has been in business since 1908, and Fullington President and CEO Jonathan Berzas said the partnership continues the company’s tradition of providing affordable, reliable, and convenient service in Pennsylvania and beyond.

Megabus also currently runs service from Pittsburgh to New York City via State College, and a route connecting to Washington, D.C. through State College, Harrisburg, Philadelphia, and Baltimore.
