Pa. Liquor Control Board giving residents shot at bottles of rare whiskey
The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board announced Tuesday it will open a limited-release lottery giving state residents and licensees a chance to purchase 1,252 bottles of rare whiskeys.
People can opt in to one or more lotteries through the Limited-Release Lottery website until 5 p.m. Friday.
The lottery features nine products in eight lotteries. Participants can opt in to any of the lotteries, or multiple. If someone wins the right to purchase a bottle in the first drawing, they’ll be removed from subsequent drawings in that lottery.
Participants can buy only bottle per household.
The lotteries will include Blanton’s Straight From the Barrel Bourbon, Blanton’s Gold Straight Bourbon, Eagle Rare Double Eagle Very Rare Straight Bourbon 90 Proof, Buffalo Trace Prohibition Collection, Woodford Reserve Baccarat Edition Straight Bourbon, Weller Millennium Straight Bourbon, Mister Sam Tribute Whiskey, Old Forester Birthday Straight Bourbon 2023 and Stagg Straight Bourbon Barrel Proof.
Prices range from $54.99 for the Stagg Straight Bourbon Barrel Proof to $7,499.99 for the Weller Millennium Straight Bourbon.
