What’s the coolest thing made in Pennsylvania? You can cast your vote starting at noon on Wednesday.

The final two contestants — the Pittsburgh-based Primanti Bros. sandwich and Hershey-based Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups — will duke it out in the last round of voting.

Run by the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry, the “Coolest Thing Made in PA” competition has been going on since March 19. So far, it has generated more than 92,000 votes since.

Users on the social media platform X will be able to cast their votes starting at noon Wednesday, and users on Instagram will be able to cast their votes starting at 4 p.m. Wednesday on the chamber’s pages.

All voting for the championship round will close at 4 p.m. on Thursday. The chamber will then announce a winner.

PA Chamber President and CEO Luke Bernstein said this is the second straight year the two finalists have been in the food, which proves two things:

“First, that Pennsylvanians definitely vote with their stomachs,” he said. “Second, that customer loyalty to these brands is incredibly strong.”

And, last year’s champion — the Primanti Bros. sandwich — is once again in the final round.

The number of overall votes cast in the “Coolest Thing Made in PA” contest has tripled since last year, according to Bernstein.
