Scholarship award

Grace Gealey, a 2021 graduate of Bethel Park High School, was recently awarded the annual scholarship from the Bethel Woman’s Club. Throughout her high school years, Grace has been an active member of the local community and has participated in many school activities. Her career choice of American Sign Language Interpreter was inspired through her volunteer work with the Miracle League of the South Hills.

She is the daughter of David and Tiffane Gealey and will be attending Bloomsburg University in the fall.

Academic achievements

The following students from the Bethel Park area were recognized for their academic achievement during the spring 2021 semester by being named to the dean’s, president’s or provost’s list at the college or university they attend:

• Belmont University: Chelsea Hallman, Tyler Petrossi

•Edinboro University: Lauren Mullen

• Grove City College: Saje Devine, Alyssa Dixon, Ezra Headrick, Adriane Slater, Alex Sodini

• York College of Pennsylvania: Eric Pferdehirt

Graduates

The following students from the Bethel Park area recently graduated from college, university, trade school or military training:

• Grove City College: Naomi Keicher, Baleb Pierson, Delaney Scott, Adriane Slater

• University of Tampa: Alexa Patrizio with a bachelor of science in marine science- biology
