Tyrion Pittister of Sewickley, who was rescued from a dog fighting ring in Georgia in 2014, was accompanied by his owner Laurie Holding for the April 13 book signing and reading of the children’s book.
Tyrion was first taken in by the Pittsburgh area non-profit Hello Bully rescue. He also is the first animal to receive a grant from the Ian Somerhalder Foundation to help pay for his surgeries and other initial veterinary bills.
