Plant sale
The Ingomar Garden Club will hold its annual fundraiser plant sale 10 a.m.-2 p.m. June 13 at the corner of Route 19 and Ingomar Road in front of Bruster’s Real Ice Cream in McCandless. A wide variety of perennials from members’ gardens, as well as garden-related crafts and flea market items will be available. Get there early for the best selection. Club members will be on hand to answer your gardening questions. They will be masked and practicing safe social distancing for your safety. The club respectfully requests that shoppers also wear face masks.
Women’s Business Network
The Women’s Business Network’s mission is to provide personal and professional resources to advance the presence of aspiring and successful businesswomen. Local area meetings are currently being conducted in a virtual format and are open to local women professionals and entrepreneurs.
During the meeting each member gets a 30 second commercial to talk about their business, with one member presenting a spotlight on their business, and one presenting a Table Topic on a subject of value to the membership.
The Cranberry Chapter’s next meeting will be held at 7:30 a.m. June 18. For more information, contact Nancy Wood at 724-316-3427.
The Criders Corners Chapter’s next meetings are at noon on June 11 and June 25. Guests are welcome to attend at no cost. For more information contact Sherri at 412-760-9601.
