Shooting in Stowe sends man to hospital

Allegheny County police are investigating a shooting reported just before 8 p.m. Saturday in Stowe Township.

First responders to the 700 block of Overlook Place found a man with a gunshot wound to his foot. He was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive, police said.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the County Police tip line at 1-833-255-8477. Callers can remain anonymous.
