Baldwin police seek information on suspicious series of brush fires

Baldwin Borough Police suspect that a half-dozen brush fires reported in rapid succession on Tuesday may have been intentionally set.

“We responded to a total of six scenes within minutes of each other,” police said in a post to the department’s Facebook page.

Police are asking residents with outdoor-facing cameras to review footage from Tuesday between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

The streets affected include Willett Road in Brentwood and Baldwin; Schuette Road; Brentwood Road; Streets Run Road, between Brentwood and Delwar roads; and Delwar Road in West Mifflin.
