The Democrats were victorious in a race for three open, four-year seats on Baldwin Borough Council.

Newcomers Denise Maiden and Patty Boyer joined incumbent James Behers, all Democrats, in winning a spot on borough council. They beat out newcomer Rebecca A. Conley, a Republican.

Boyer, who appeared on both party ballots on Nov. 5, received 31% of the votes. Maiden, who also appeared on both ballots, received 30% of the votes. Behers, who was on the Democratic ticket, received 24% of the votes, while Conley received 15%.
