U.S. Post Office holding job fair Saturday at North Side mail processing facility
The U.S. Postal Service is looking to hire full time, part time and seasonal workers in the region and will be holding a job fair Saturday at its processing and delivery center on the North Side.
The fair will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Pittsburgh P & DC located at 1001 California Ave, according to Patty Gonzalez of the regional post office human resources department.
Human resource specialists will be available onsite to answer questions and share details about the various positions that start at $16.87 an hour.
Among positions available are city carrier assistants, rural carrier associates, postal support employees, and mailhandler assistants. The positions perform mail handling, mail processing, driving, mail delivery or a combination of such duties, as required.
