Free covid-19 testing will be available at First United Presbyterian Church in Tarentum on Monday.
Testing will be offered from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Philip Beck, the church’s pastor, wrote on in a Facebook announcement.
A van and tent will be set up for testing at the church, located at 913 Lock St., Beck said.
Pre-registration is encouraged and can be done online.
According to Allegheny County Health Department’s covid-19 testing website, PCR tests will be offered at the site.
As of Thursday afternoon, the website listed 170 slots available Monday for that location.
People can typically expect test results within 48 hours, but it may take longer around the holidays, according to the website.
This covid-19 testing is being offered through a partnership between Allegheny County Health Department and the Highlands Partnership Network, Beck said.
