A section of Route 910 in Harmar was shut down early Wednesday morning after a vehicle struck a gas line, according to authorities.
The incident occurred at about 2:15 a.m. near the intersection of Locust Hill and Rich roads, according to emergency dispatchers.
The line ruptured when a PennDOT truck that was working in the area struck the line, said Barry Kukovich, a spokesman for Peoples Natural Gas Co.
No customers lost service as a result of the break, Kukovich said.
Work to repair the line was expected to take until about noon.
