A gathering to celebrate the life of one of the six people who died in last week’s house explosion in Plum will be held Sunday afternoon.

Family and friends of Kevin Sebunia, 55, will gather from 1 to 8 p.m. at Larry Mills Park to share photos, stories and messages in honor of his life.

The park is located at 199 Fontana Road in Plum.

Sebunia lived three houses away from a home that exploded at the corner of Rustic Ridge and Brookside drives in the borough’s Rustic Ridge neighborhood.

Sebunia is being remembered for being a dedicated family man who doted on his wife and children and gave his time to help others.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Soxman Funeral Home in Penn Hills.

Donations can be made directly to the family at S&T Bank under the Kelly Sebunia personal relief account. Donations also can be made to Plum Area Youth Soccer in Sebunia’s memory.

The family appreciates the outpouring of love it has received from far and near, but wishes to keep the celebration of life to those touched by Kevin’s life.
