A traveling exhibit of the 2022 Audubon Photography Awards winners will be on display at Buffalo Creek Nature Park until Sunday.

The local Audubon Society chapter has hosted the exhibit before, and visitors have been “amazed at the ‘wow-ness’ of many of the images,” said Rachel Handel, spokeswoman for the Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania.

The exhibit can be seen daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Buffalo Creek Nature Park, 154 Monroe Road, Buffalo Township. Admission is free.

“The photographers capture birds in amazing ways that really cause people to be mesmerized by the beauty of the bird and composition of the picture,” Handel said.

The photo and video contest, in its 13th year, received 2,416 entrants from all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and seven Canadian provinces and territories.

Photographs and videos are judged by technical quality, originality and artistic merit.

The exhibit has already been shown at Audubon’s Succop Nature Park in Butler and Beechwood Farms in Fox Chapel.
