New Kensington Council wants to change the zoning of vacant land at Seventh Street and Constitution Boulevard from light industrial to commercial in hopes of attracting development.

A zoning map shows an I-1, or light industrial, area that New Kensington is looking to change to general commercial. The area includes the former Metalworking Machinery, which was demolished in 2018.
