Lower Burrell police accused a man of being a crack cocaine dealer after officers working undercover bought crack cocaine from him.
Jerrail Albert “Kobe” Carver, 30, of the 900 block of Evans Street in New Kensington was charged with two felony counts of possession of drugs with the intent to deliver along with a count of possession of a controlled substance.
Carver was charged by summons and ordered to appear before District Judge Cheryl Peck Yakopec on Oct. 17 for a preliminary hearing.
Police wrote in a criminal complaint that Carver was the target of a joint undercover investigation between Lower Burrell and New Kensington detectives Feb. 22 when he sold a bag filled with 0.82 gram of a white “chunky” substance that tested positive for cocaine.
