Bethel Park Public Library, located at 5100 W. Library Ave., is open to the public.
Masks are required, high-touch areas including countertops and tables are disinfected daily and hand sanitizer is available throughout the library. Public computers are limited to one hour of use per day. All materials are quarantined for 96 hours before being checked in. Curbside pickup is available.
All library clubs and groups are on pause until further notice.

2021 Virtual Art Gala submissions
The Bethel Park Public Library’s Art Gala encourages children of all ages and skill levels to share their inner artist. The main purpose of the event, now in its fifth year, is to put the spotlight on the children and teens of this wonderful community, showcase their incredible talents and let them shine. The library is accepting submissions through April 26. Participants should create their masterpiece, take a photo of the art and send it via email to volpee@einetwork.net. Submissions should include the name and age of the artist and the title of the piece.
Preschool Power
Miss Jackie will pick up with the letter “R” and finish reading through the alphabet April 23 at 9:30 and 11:30 a.m.. Stories, songs and a special show-n-tell feature make this early literacy class one of a kind. Pick up your packet prior to the start of the session and have fun in this kindergarten-readiness program for 4- and 5-year-olds. Class is conducted via Zoom each week, so registration is necessary.
Teen virtual game night
Join the library 7 p.m. April 26 for virtual game nights via Zoom to play a variety of games and win fun prizes. For grades 7-12. Register online ach month to receive the link to the Zoom meeting.
Bookmark Kindness virtual class
A few kind words and a smile can brighten someone’s day. Participants in this April 28 class will design bookmarks with inspirational quotes to be distributed at the library. Be a part of spreading cheer and kindness throughout the community! For grades K-4, 6:30 p.m. Register online.
