Woman dies of injuries after being struck by train in Sutersville

A 28-year-old woman who was struck by a CSX train in Westmoreland County Tuesday has died of her injuries, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s office.

Crystal Dahlstrom of Aliquippa died Tuesday of her injuries at Jefferson Hospital in Jefferson Hills after being hit by a train in Sutersville, the medical examiner’s office said

The incident occurred at 3:03 p.m., according to authorities.

She was pronounced dead at the hospital at 4:25 p.m., according to the medical examiner.

The cause of death was due to multiple blunt force injuries.

The incident occurred along the 600 block of Second Avenue.
