3 charged after drive-by shooting in Mt. Pleasant Township
Three men were jailed Monday on $500,000 bail each after, state police said, they were involved in a drive-by shooting in Mt. Pleasant Township.
A home on Poker Road, just off Route 982 in the village of Mammoth, was damaged by bullets while people were inside, police said. The front door and a side window were hit. It did not appear from court papers that anyone was hurt.
The shooting was reported at 3:20 a.m. Sunday.
Troopers said they did numerous interviews and filed charges against Nino S. Manno, 20, of Adamsburg, and Ronan D. Hunter, 18, and Joshua James Gross, 21, both of Jeannette.
Police identified a fourth man in court papers, but no charges had been filed against him Monday.
Troopers said Manno was driving a Ford Focus, and he and others in the car opened fire on the Poker Road home. Troopers found multiple spent shell casings and bullet fragments, according to court papers.
Afterward, they fled to their respective homes, police said.
During a search of the car, police reported finding a 9mm handgun and multiple spent shell casings.
Hunter and Manno are charged with aggravated assault, discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure, conspiracy and a weapons violation. Gross is charged with conspiracy.
None of the three suspects had an attorney listed in online court records.
They were being held at the Westmoreland County Prison. Preliminary hearings are set for March 12.
