An Arnold man was sentenced Tuesday to five to 10 years in a state prison in connection with crystal meth, guns and more than $15,000 in cash seized from his home in April 2022.
Tyson J. Bargerstock, 38, pleaded guilty Tuesday to unlawful possession of a firearm and possession with intent to deliver. Prosecutors withdrew five other drug counts.
During a raid of his home, police said they found the cash, nearly $12,000 worth of crystal meth and a stolen pistol. He was not permitted to have a gun because of a previous felony conviction.
Bargerstock was recommended to participate in a state drug treatment court.
The cash seized was ordered to be forfeited to the Westmoreland County District Attorney’s Office. The firearm will be returned to its owner, if one can be determined, according to a court order.
