A West Mifflin man is behind bars after police said he sold $520 worth of suspected heroin/fentanyl on Monday to an undercover officer and confidential informant in North Huntingdon.

Investigators from North Huntingdon, the Westmoreland County Drug Task Force and the state attorney general’s office worked together in the bust at a location off Route 30, according to court papers. A deal was set up with Deon Thomas Webb III, 28, for the purchase of 150 stamp bags, police said.

The exchange with Webb happened inside a car just before 4 p.m. and police took him into custody. Police reported seizing from Webb an additional 50 stamp bags, a cell phone and the $520.

Webb is charged with criminal use of a communication facility and drug offenses. His bail was set at $250,000 and he was being held at the Westmoreland County Prison. He didn’t have an attorney listed in online court records.
