Heather Rosky (right), an Excela Health transitional care liaison, pets Odie, a sheltie, on Thursday while volunteer Pam Smith holds onto Willow, a Pembroke Welsh corgi. The dogs were at the Saint Vincent College Fred Rogers Center for a program on bereaved children. Excela’s family-based grief support program, Neighborhood Kids, uses art and music along with pet therapy to help children cope with grief and give families tools to use.
