Jeep driver hits state police car in South Huntingdon and flees

Police are looking for the driver of a Jeep Wrangler who hit a marked state police car Saturday at 8 p.m. in South Huntingdon and fled.

The hit and run of the police car occurred on Route 31 just east of Route 136, according to a state police press release.

Police are asking members of the public to report any details they might have about the vehicle or the driver.

The 2018-2022 Jeep Wrangler is dark-colored with round LED-style headlights and side fender marker lights. The Jeep will have front-end driver’s side damage with some white paint transfer.
