Tractor-trailer overturns on I-70
A tractor-trailer crashed and turned over on its side Sunday evening, splaying across Interstate 70 in Washington County.
The crash happened around 7:15 p.m. in the eastbound lanes on I-70 near the 13.5 mile marker approaching Chestnut Street in North Franklin, according to TribLive news partner WTAE.
WTAE reported there were no initial injuries and it took crews several hours to clear the scene.
The tractor-trailer is now only blocking the right shoulder on eastbound I-70, and traffic is moving, reported WTAE.
Car stolen off Salem Township lot
A man drove off with a silver muscle car from Victory Automotive dealership in Salem Township last week, the Pennsylvania State Police reported.
Troppers said Sunday that an unknown man provided false information to the dealership on the morning of Feb. 20 and then drove a 2019 Dodge Charger off the lot.
The vehicle was valued at nearly $38,000, police said.
Man injured in apparent fight in Oklahoma Borough
A father in Oklahoma borough in Westmoreland County suffered broken ribs and a broken hip in an alleged assault by his son Friday afternoon, the state police reported.
The man, 69, was taken to a hospital after the incident, police said Sunday.
Troopers said the man’s son, 28, is accused of assaulting his father during a domestic dispute at their residence along Thorn Street in Oklahoma Borough.
As a result, the father suffered a broken right hip, two fractured ribs and minor injuries to his head, police said.
Police did not provide information on the men’s names or identities.
It’s unclear if any charges were filed.
