A Jeannette man was denied bond Friday after state police said they confiscated crack cocaine and two guns from his house.

Troopers served a search warrant at the Penn Avenue home of Isaiah Morton, 20, around 6 a.m. Friday. They reported in court papers finding three knotted bags of crack cocaine, miscellaneous pills and the guns, one of which had an obliterated serial number.

Morton was being held at the Westmoreland County Prison on gun and drug charges. He did not have an attorney listed in online court records.

He is scheduled for a nonjury trial next month on robbery charges stemming from a 2019 home invasion in Jeannette. He was 16 at the time but charged as an adult.

Morton and three others were arrested in that incident. Witnesses told police the suspects wore masks when they broke in and asked the location of drugs. One man was punched in the head and a second man escaped out a window. Morton was free on nominal bond in that case.
