An Export man was seriously injured Tuesday after being thrown from a motorcycle during a crash, state police said Thursday.

Daniel H. Loughner, 35, was taken to AHN Forbes Hospital in Monroeville after the crash on Kennedy Avenue at 1:16 a.m. Troopers said Loughner was traveling at 45 mph near the intersection of Puckety Drive when the Kawasaki Ninja left the road, hit a sidewalk and began to slide.

Police said he was wearing a helmet. No information was available on his condition.

Loughner was cited for speeding, driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked and other vehicle code violations.
