An 18-year-old Salem man accused of asking underage girls to send him nude photographs was arrested again Friday for allegedly blackmailing a 16-year-old girl into sending him illicit photographs and a video.

Dylan J. Krupitzer, of Crabtree, declined comment as he was led from Washington Township District Judge Jason Buczak’s office in handcuffs by state police Trooper Paige Shreffler after his arraignment on charges of child pornography, corruption of minors, disseminating illicit photographs of a minor under age 18, harassment, sexual abuse of minors and unlawful contact with minors.

Krupitzer was first arrested Jan. 6 on misdemeanor counts of harassment after two teenage girls who formerly attended Greensburg Salem High School with him said he harassed them on Snapchat in December, requesting they send him nude photographs of themselves. Police said he used a fake Snapchat account under an assumed name.

Krupitzer, who was free on unsecured bond, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was applying for acceptance into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition probationary program, according to court records. He had a hearing set for April 29 to determine whether he could enter the program.

ARD is a probationary program for first-time, nonviolent offenders. If Krupitzer would complete it successfully, he could petition the courts to expunge his record.

Recently, Shreffler reported that a 16-year-old girl alleged Krupitzer “blackmailed” her into sending him nude photographs and a video on Oct. 18. The girl said Krupitzer, who was using another fake Snapchat account, said he already obtained nude photographs of the her and was going to post them “unless she sent nude photographs of herself.”

Police were informed of the incident after the girl told her mother. Krupitzer was arrested Friday after police interviewed him and acquired records of his Snapchat account detailing his correspondence with the girl.

During his arraignment, Krupitzer, who is unemployed, told Buczak that he had dropped out of high school but was studying for a GED.

Buczak ordered Krupitzer held in the county prison after he failed to post $100,000 bond pending a preliminary hearing March 23. Krupitzer’s public defender, John Sweeney, could not be reached for comment .
